LADYHOOD:

Smashing into the pop music scene in 2015, Ladyhood has cemented herself as a force to be reckoned with. Seducing her audience with a mixture of gravel-sweet sounds, a feisty attitude and an undeniable sexual charisma, her newest EP Like You Mean It combines well-crafted pop melodies with some no-shit-given, pumping, electro-rock.

Inspired by the likes of Prince and Freddy Mercury, Ladyhood’s commanding on-stage presence has drawn comparisons to enigmatic rock goddess Chrissy Amphlett, and her sweet tone to the pop matriarch, Rita Ora. While her fierce energy may have her standing in line to become the next female powerhouse in music, one thing is certain… Ladyhood ain’t no lady.

DJ MAGNUS:

DJ Magnus clearly communicates an infectious passion for House music through the decks. If you missed his debut gig at Cairns Tropical Pride in 2007, he may well have had you sweating it out at Big Gay Day (Brisbane), I Remember House (Sydney), the Midsumma T-Dance (Melbourne), CoastOut (Coffs Harbour), ChillOut (Daylesford), Christchurch Pride, the Broken Heel Festival or at the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras AfterParty.

He’s held residencies in Sydney at Daywash, Hot Kandi, ARQ & The Colombian and more recently in Melbourne at Rock City, Sircuit, The GH & Sundaylicious! DJ Magnus has also supported many local & International acts including Heather Small (M People), Paul Mac, Kelly Rowland, Wynter Gordon & played alongside DJs Seamus Haji, eSQUIRE, Jolyon Petch, Dani Toro & Wayne G to name a few.

In 2017, he hosted his very first fundraising event for Black Dog Institute (raising $8K), launched a successful weekly “SHAG” Sunday Session with the well-known DJ Queen Martine, joined a brand new LGBT superclub called PLAY Fridays as Musical Director & resident DJ, and now has his first Trance event planned for NYD 2018.

Beats, love & mirrorballs!
